Can laundry detergent trigger acne?

Can laundry detergent cause acne?

✨Yes scented laundry detergent contains a lot of fragrances that can clog and aggravate the follicles of acne-prone individuals.

Often scents and dyes are one of the many causes of skin problems and the majority of laundry detergents and fabric softeners including hidden ingredients and chemicals and yes even some products marketed safely for babies.

✨To minimize the chances of breakouts, be alert and look for detergents labeled fragrance-free and dye-free, and switch to free and clear laundry detergent.

✨Ditch the dryer sheets yes they might be responsible for helping your laundry stay soft and static-free, but your skin is not a fan.

They coat your linens and clothes with a layer of wax and grease, not to mention fragrance, that can be especially irritating to your skin. I use a wool dryer ball and add a few drops of grapefruit and lemon essential oils from #youngliving.

Clear skin is possible my friends!!

CLEAR SKIN TIP #1: EXFOLIATE

When it comes to achieving clear skin, exfoliation should be at the top of your list. The idea of dead skin cells on your face is not too pleasing, after all. While it’s easy to think that exfoliation is only for specific skin types, the truth is, every skin type can benefit from it. And the only way to do so is to use the right products without overdoing it. As for exfoliation, I recommend using SKIN SCRIPT - RETINOL 2% EXFOLIATING SCRUB/MASK, is a powerful, exfoliating scrub enriched with Retinol to purify the skin while providing visible anti-aging benefits.

CLEAR SKIN TIP #2 :Change that pillowcase!

Not changing your pillowcases enough can also cause your skin to break out. Even if you wash your face every night, your pillowcases carry dirt and sweat from your hair, hands, and build up from the products you use on your face at night. It's a good idea to change it every few days.
